10 INTERESTING WEBSITES EVER ON INTERNET CHECK OUT
I've compiled a list of 10 amazing websites you should visit,
you might find something useful and inspiring. I've been visiting some
of these websites for many years, while others I've only recently
discovered myself.
1. www.earthcam.com
Have you ever wanted to see Times Square (NYC) in real time from the comfort of your own home? Maybe see the lights of the Las Vegas strip? How about Sydney Harbour, Tokyo or Bangkok? Well it’s all possible on the Earthcam website, it’s the world’s largest search engine of internet camera’s. I really do love this website, you can pretty much get a live feed from anywhere in the world and it’s totally free!

2. www.archive.org
Wayback Machine is a digital archive of the entire internet, there’s over 455 billion web pages saved on there since 1996. What this basically means is you can view a website and see it 5, 10 or 15 years ago. Maybe you recently purchased a domain and you wondered what was on it before, or maybe you just want to rediscover content you thought was lost forever. Wayback Machine has all of these pages saved, so it doesn’t matter if the content no longer exists, you can still see it.

3. www.expireddomains.net
When starting a new website it can be challenging to find a suitable domain name that’s available, at Expired Domains it gives you a live list of every domain recently expired.

4. www.screenr.com
Screenr is a browser based screen recorder, no software and no downloads required. Simply click the record button and start capturing your screen. Once you’ve finished recording you can upload the screencast to your website or any social network.
5. www.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont
Have you ever looked at someones logo or artwork and wondered what the font was? There are literally thousands and thousands of different fonts available, trying to manually match them up can be impossible. What the font lets you upload an image and then matches it to the closest font it can find in their huge database. Obviously sometimes fonts are custom made so you’ll never find the exact font, but you can often find passable alternatives.

6. www.urbandictionary.com
I’m sure most people know this one, the online dictionary for slang words, phrases and street lingo. Even someone with all my street credibility can still learn a thing or two from this website.

7. www.freeimages.com
Finding good free images has always been a problem for website owners and bloggers, this one actually has some good images ready to use. Formely called sxc.hu, they must have recently re-branded, whatever happened the high quality images are still available.

8. www.oldversion.com
This website is a pretty useful for people who don’t like change, you know how it goes, you download the latest version of your favourite software and it’s ruined everything. Now you can roll back to the previous version, sit back and wait for them to release a newer version that’s acceptable.

9. www.impawards.com
This has to be the largest online database for movie posters, I’m yet to search a film and it not be on there. They add new posters every day, so it’s often the place to see posters for new movies first.

10. www.noisli.com
If you want to set the perfect environment in your work place, or maybe even your home, then this is the website for you. There are various different background sound effects to choose from, could this be the answer to help you focus and boost productivity?
11. www.randomstreetview.com
This is a fun little idea, simply open the web page and it drops you in a random location of street view. Really has no purpose but it’s a great way to waste some time and who knows you might land somewhere interesting.

12. www.10minutemail.com/10MinuteMail/index.html
Beat spam with a temporary email address, sign-up to websites and get the confirmation emails without them ever having access to your real email address.
